Anima Goyal (b. 1995, Punjab) is an artist living and working between Frankfurt, Germany, and Haryana, India. Rooted in poetry, she revisits the body through speech, miscommunication, and medical histories. Her practice shifts across sculptural forms, printmaking, and temporary reading rooms that reference fragile material cultures and lead to quiet encounters. In the past two years, she has focused on chronic illness and its estrangements. An ill body is constantly documented, misread, and displaced. Illness becomes a speculative lens for articulating the slow loss and reconfiguration of one’s language=body over time. {cv}
