Papyrus, washi, cheesecloth, charcoal
Site-specific, 2023

A series of 13 drawings that explores the fragility of a romantic relationship between two women that has to remain
hidden, with written text on washi that had a function of votive objects. The viewers sat down, and go through
the drawings, akin to going through family photographs. The drawings were done with unfixed charcoal, where the
image was erased with each interaction, and at the end,  there were only traces remaining. The work is site-specific in
a former rope factory, where I read the letters between Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West during the course of
this exhibition.
